Ceramides NP:
Naturally present in the lips, Ceramides NP are essential for maintaining the skin barrier. They have restructuring properties and compensate for the naturally low ceramide levels in the lips. This helps retain hydration and reduces water evaporation, thereby preventing chapping. Additionally, Ceramides NP form a protective film on the skin, preserving the lips’ suppleness and elasticity.

Hyaluronic Acid:
This low molecular weight hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water molecules in the skin, improving lip hydration. By slightly plumping the tissues, it also provides a subtle volumizing effect and helps smooth dehydration lines. With improved hydration, the lips appear smoother and softer.

Camellia Oil:
Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, camellia oil is renowned for its nourishing and reparative properties. Furthermore, a study conducted on human fibroblasts showed that camellia oil could reduce levels of MMP-1 metalloproteases, which are involved in the proteolytic degradation of collagen. By helping to preserve collagen, this oil contributes to maintaining the lips’ suppleness.

Before applying the lip balm, it is recommended to use the L38 - Resurfacing Lip Peel - 2% Mandelic Acid + Pomegranate Enzyme to smooth the lip surface and enhance the balm's longevity. To replace the balm once finished: Detach the empty refill and recycle it. Align the engraving on the balm with the logo on the packaging. Snap the new refill into its base. A specific test was not conducted for this product, as the longevity of a balm's shade varies significantly depending on the user. Yes, it can be used as a blush on the cheeks and on the eyelids, as it has passed an eye safety test.
